A recipe on how to live to 90... Visited my Dad in Butler (He is going to be 91 soon). After breakfast we dug out a dead apple tree, including the roots. Then we cut up the entire tree into one foot lengths with a chain saw. After smoothing the ground and planting grass we hauled the wood to the garage. Then we pried up a concrete slab from the driveway and manage to get it up on 2 by 4s. We slid it to the side and then cut out a root the size of a bushel basket which was pushing the slab out of place. We leveled it out and then managed to get the concrete slab back in place. Then we hauled dirt and back filled a new stone wall he had put in leading to the garage at the house. After hauling enough dirt, we raked it and then planted ivy and grass and spread straw over all of it. Then we dug out another huge root and axed it out. At that point I said "no mas" ! Guess it is sad when my 91 year old father can out work me. (Tomorrow he is getting up at dawn to spray his apple orchard.)
