A reminder to submit in your applications for the Bell Direct internship as submissions are closing soon! Bell Direct is looking for an intern who would be working at Bell Direct full time and undertake university studies part-time. The ideal candidate would • start in late January • preferably be a Commerce/Economics student from any year • have a keen interest in share trading and the finance industry • remuneration will be discussed in the interview Brief overview of the role: Key tasks/competencies of the new role: • Accurate and timely processing of administration tasks (role will be heavy on new application account set-up and back office administration tasks). • Speak to clients and advisors on the telephone in a professional manner. • Basic understanding of the Australian Share market and familiarity with its basic concepts. • Desire to work hard and ability to learn on the job Bell Potter Online and the new role: • Bell Potter Online is a component of the Bell Financial Group. It provides execution services to an established advisor base and their own private clients. • In addition to providing this, we also assist advisors by providing them and their client’s exceptional customer service via the telephone and email lines of communication that this desk has the responsibility of monitoring. • The role will initially be an admin heavy role (account applications and back office tasks) that will eventually have a higher “front office” customer service component as the candidate gains more experience. Over time as they integrate more into the team there may be trading opportunities also. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to get their foot in the door of a broking firm while still at university.
