A shift officers responded to a call of someone attempting to break into an ice machine at a closed business. On arrival, they found a broken door with blood droplets visible inside the business. An on-duty negotiator attempted to make contact, but there was no response. Officers then breached the door and cleared the building. A white male suspect was located within the business and arrested for burglary after having his self-inflicted wounds tended to by medical personnel. Way to go A shift!!!
