A short time ago, Pittsburg Police Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 500 block of West St. Responding officers located a vehicle leaving the scene and attempted to stop that vehicle. The operator of the vehicle refused to stop. The vehicle eventually stopped on Second St and both occupants ran from officers. One suspect was captured and PPD officers have identified the second suspect and are working to obtain an arrest warrant. At no time was this ever classified as an active shooter incident.
