A social political group, Continuity Advancement Group (CAG) has commended the Deputy Majority Leader House of Representatives member representing Isoko Federal Constituency Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor for his swift response over the reconstruction of the damaged Enwhe Bridge. The group gave the commendation on the heels of commencement of work at the site. The bridge is overdue for reconstruction and it has created lots of hazards to the economic advancement of the Isoko because of its importance after its collapse when the flood visited in 2012. The group, said in a statement jointly signed by the group’s leader, Prince Godwin Ogorugba, Com Nelson Egware the chairman and Mr Akpodhoma Mike mikoko secretary of the group said the reconstruction of the bridge when completed will restore users confidence back. “At least, people will not be travelling under tension or panicking when travelling along the bridge. “It will also encourage free flow of commercial activities within the area,” the statement said. “We also wish to appreciate the landmark achievements of the federal lawmaker, Rt Hon Leo Ogor in the area of infrastructural development”. Which include the swift completion of 24 classroom blocks and a laboratory block at Alaka Secondary school Ozoro, renovation of a block of 8 classrooms at Eru Primary School Igbide, executed with personal funds, the lighting of Oleh campus and Ozoro Polytechnic with solar street lights, among others was no doubt a thing of pride to Isoko people and “the Ogor representation should be commended for these projects. “Therefore, honor should be given to whom it is due and for this, we salute Rt Hon Leo Ogor for his love for Isoko people,” the group said. The group also used the medium to urge other representatives and government officials from Isoko to key into the developmental needs of Isoko nation.
