A society without money, based on love, has been a dream for centuries. Why didn’t it work out until now? Mainly because the traditional church institutions corrupted it. It is a tragedy of our past that those religious entities who ought to promote love in fact hindered it and separated us from it. I read a text about the early Christian communities. The gospel says they were like one heart and soul. They shared everything. No one gave a damn about personal possession. The spirit of love was there, it was alive, but then somehow it was corrupted, maybe when the church began to feel powerful. The spirit and culture of love was separated from the church and became rebellious against it, as church fell into darkness and the dark ages began. Apparently Jesus has let the world down. It almost seems like in these Star wars movies: Messiah turns to the dark side, becomes a machinery tool in an evil scheme that suppresses life and advocates selfishness, egoism, paranoia and hatred. What we need is a new church to overcome the old one. My take on it is that it has already been there for a long time in its prototype stadium. For me the power to change this world lies within the movement of popular culture, currently trapped inside the money regime. In fact we have seen it almost taking over, when the hippies came along. This refreshing, exciting being that changes throughout the decades. It always comes up with new stuff, new ideas, new music, new performances, constantly trying to promote the spirit of love in style. I’ve always been attracted to it. For all my life, since my early childhood, when this music came to my ears I could feel that this is the real liturgy for me. It represents me. In the last couple of years I so badly realized how much it means to me, how much I am bound to this culture. I know that many people feel the same about it. I believe the original intention of this culture is exactly that, promoting a world based on Love, where money and trading becomes irrelevant, where everything is shared as we share our love and passion for each other. We even share our living space, we live together, work together, party together like brothers and sisters, like one big loving family community. Now some could argue, that some of these artists have a materialistic lifestyle and they even promote that excessively in their videos. Yes, that’s degenerate, but I see that as a sign of frustration rather than real intention. As I said its currently imprisoned, its still under the dominance of the money regime. We have to convince these artists who magnetize the masses. They are the priests of this new church, we must get them over on our side, make them promote our vision emphatically.
