A special bonus video! This is a statute of the Assumption of Our Blessed Mother Mary that I discovered in The Grotto in Portland. For you non-Catholics out there or for those who need a refresher, it is believed that immediately upon Mother Marys death she was assumed into heaven, body + soul, because of her virtuous + faith-filled life. August 15th is the day we celebrate Mother Marys body being taken into heaven. Woohoo! (She types with utmost respect seasoned with the joie de vivre I was blessed with at birth). More later.
