A strong storm moved across Beaufort, NC and point east in downeast Carteret Co. I watched the storm cycled into a supercell for a moment when the SMW was issued for a waterspout. I speed out to Smyrna and Davis overlooking Jerret Bay and caught this. It was a Beaut!! Winds gusting to 30mph and lots of heavy rain. First two picture was looking over Jerret Bay were the possible waterspout was developing. There were scuds but it one was to occur it would have been rainwrapped. Third picture was the shelf cloud rolling behind me which would have been the outflow boundary. Last picture was leaving Beaufort for downeast after the shelf cloud moved through. Lots of scuds and heavy rain up river.
