With the 63rd season of Opera in the Ozarks now behind us, the fun continues at the Point with two performances--both FREE--that you don’t want to miss. This Saturday, July 27 at 8 PM will feature the Vocal Music camp at Opera in the Ozarks theatre presentation of Dr. Seuss’s Broadway musical “Seussical.” Then on Tuesday, July 30th we will present the “ALTIUS STRING QUARTET” at 7 PM in the Eureka Springs Auditorium. This concert celebrates the 20th year of our string and piano camp for outstanding Junior and Senior high music students. This professional quartet will be Artists in Residence for our string and piano camp and will be the String Quartet in Residence at Southern Methodist University Meadows School of the Arts in the Fall of 2013. They recently won the prestigious Plowman Chamber Music Competition. The program will include all styles of music, many surprises! Come and bring your friends!
