A suspect has been arrested in connection with the Tuesday murder of Donald Clinton Black. Police took Joseph Everett Woodward, 32, Klamath Falls, into custody today. Woodward was booked into the county jail on charges of murder, as well as methamphetamine and marijuana possession charges. Woodward is suspected of killing Donald Clinton Black, 49, in the 2000 block of Montelius Street. Police units were dispatched around 2:10 a.m., Tuesday, to the scene. They found Black dead in his residence. District Attorney Rob Patridge confirmed the cause of death was a gunshot wound. According to Patridge, the Major Crime Team is still searching for a white vehicle seen leaving Montelius Street around the time of the murder. The vehicle is described as a newer, four-door Honda Civic. The public can contact the Klamath Falls Police Department at 541-883-5336. The KFPD also maintains an anonymous tip line at 541-883-5334.
