A time for reflection: In this last season, many of us experienced people walking out of our lives, old doors being closed, and what felt like an attack. But we werent being attacked; we were being delivered. The amazing part of all of this is: We ARE still standing despite what was said about us! We were rejected, underestimated and demonized when wed done no wrong! Many of us found ourselves sounding like David many nights, reflecting on how good we were to the people whod been the most wicked towards us! But we survived it all! And now, its harvest season: A time to rejoice (for some) and a time to weep (for others). This is a time to let our reflections become our testimonies. Now, we can look ahead and say, LORD, I understand it all now! I didnt understand what You were doing back then, but I understand it now! Forgive me for questioning You, but I now know that EVERY closed door represents a door that should NOT have been opened in the first place! Along with this bountiful harvest You have prepared for me, I ask that You cause me to reap understanding so that when the seasons change again, I wont question You; Ill just ask you how hard should I slam those doors shut! Reap, people of GOD! Reap and rejoice!
