A twenty-three- year old man of Solomon Islands will be produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court today. The businessman was allegedly found in possession of more than thirty one thousand dollars worth of foreign currency at the Nadi International Airport on Sunday. The Chinese national came to Fiji on a transit flight bound for Australia. Le-wen Chen has been charged with one count of failing to declare currency and is expected to be produced in court tomorrow. In the second incident another foreign national was found in possession of over fifteen thousand dollars worth of foreign currency. Fu-yu-ku Hori a Japanese national appeared in court yesterday and was granted bail for two thousand dollars. His plea has been deferred to Thursday. Hori arrived from the Kiribati on Sunday yesterday afternoon.
