A variant of toad in the whole. My sausages were precooked at a convenient time of day and chopped up, as was the bacon & batter. Just 1 sausage and 1 rasher of bacon per person. I feed 8. At tea time I only had to heat some oil in an oven dish, until smoking. Chuck in my sausages bacon and batter mix and shove in the oven for about 25 minutes. Served with a scoop of mashed potato - rationed so that we have left over for tomorrow - and lazy mixed vegetables - so shoot me :) Dee x
