A very brave g young lady respect to her. I have the pleasure supporting people with mental illness to recover a better quality of life living with mental illness. The journey to recovery is unique to everyone just as we are all unique and there are good days and bad days, steps backwards and forwards which is all part of the journey. A better public awareness of Mental Illness and the more people can talk openly about it will give people hope and confidence to seek support. Rethink mental illness and Mind are just two nation wide charities, there are many more as well as statutory services within the NHS and social services that have resources to support/help people. There is lots of support for people living with mental illness and that includes their carers. If this young ladies message only helps one individual to have the courage to seek support or a carer to ask for help then it has worked.
