A very common mistake made by non-believers and even fervent believers, is to think of God as merely a man who is subject to our whims and demands. If you exist then show yourself, demands the doubter. God is God and so He does not have to reveal Himself merely because we demand it. We forget our place. We come to believe as did our first parents who were deceived into believing, that we can be like gods. The difference is that today there is no Serpent whispering sweet nothings into our ears. These days the deceiver is our own pride, arrogance and supposed status as an enlightened class of people. God will not be measured with a yardstick, nor analyzed in a laboratory, nor calculated with a computer. The mistake my friends, is to believe that we stand on equal footing with God. We forget Who the Creator is and who is the created. People who nay-say believers with statements such as, if there were a God He would not let innocent children suffer. They forget that our disobedience and Sin-of-Pride flawed Creation, opening a Pandoras Box of wrongs that brought evil, sickness and death into the world that we live in. This was Mans doing and not Gods Plan for Mankind, and so we suffer, grow old and die. This Fall was Mans own doing, yet when thing go awry we want to do one of two things: 1). Hold God accountable (rather than Man); or 2). Deny that God exists. In a nutshell friends, this is atheist/agnostic/free-thinker Logic 101. How absurd it is to believe that we can challenge God! Instead we should drop to our knees and beg God to forgive us. Atheists, agnostics and free-thinkers will Never coerce God into showing Himself. Think about it, why should God prove anything to non-believers? The very idea is beyond absurd, it is oxymoron.
