A video I posted here -- an interview I gave at the Psychedemia conference -- was not approved by the administrators, because it contained, among other things,a discussion of the use of ayahuasca by shamans in the Upper Amazon. Of course this page is maintained by the administrators, and they can enforce any rules they want. Still, it is sad to see a central feature of Upper Amazonian shamanism excluded here, and this prohibition against discussing shamanic hallucinogen use might be worth a discussion of its own. I am curious whether and for what reasons participants in this group agree or disagree with this policy. Any thoughts?
