A week ago from today my family and I had my mothers and grandmothers Koo.eex. It lasted for 22 hours and I made it through the whole ceremony. Friday before hand I worked both of my jobs, did the party lasted 26 hours, took a 3 hour nap and started my week of work. Each day I average about 10-11 hours of work. Today marks my first real rest Ive had since the party. I passed out around 12pm today and woke up about an hour ago. My body lasted just long enough to survive through my week of work and on to my first day off of work. All the sleep I should have got after the party plus all the extra sleep Ive needed for my two jobs happen to hit me like a pill of bricks through this afternoon nap. Im still feeling the lasting part of exhaustion from this week but Ive never slept so well in my life and Im happy I finally got rest.
