A week before Thanksgiving, a small businessman with store sandwiched between two corporate chain stores was desperately trying to find a way to save his faltering business. Hoping to attract customers on the annual shopping rush the day after Thanksgiving, he decided to hang a large on the front of his store which read, GREAT BLACK FRIDAY DEALS! The day after he hung his sign, however, he was dismayed to find that the corporate chain store to the left of him had hung a much larger sign which read, BEST BLACK FRIDAY BARGAINS! He was horrified when, the day after that, the big chain store on his right hung an even larger sign reading,LOWEST BLACK FRIDAY PRICES! The small business man panicked until he got an idea. In the weest hours of Friday, before any of the shoppers or store employees were out, he put up the biggest sign of all over his front door and shined every light he could upon it.
