A weekend affair in Melbourne For me, Melbourne is definitely food, wine and coffee heaven. 72 hours there and I was in love with this citys energy. Gourmet food, eclectic bars, wholesome shopping and the cutest little cafés that serve the best coffee. So the next time you decide to toodle off for a weekend to Melbourne, here are some of the spots you should definitely experience- STAY: You would want to stay in the heart of the city, the CBD area. Its perfect for most things to do as everything is a quick walk away. And now from the 1st of January 2015, all the trams within this area are free of cost to ride! So you would rather spend your money on a good hotel rather than on taxis.
