The fact I mentioned the Chevette was a single cam and had a lot less horsepower than some rivals and the fact this was a car in development in single cam form in conjunction with DTV designed primarily for the clubman and perhaps class wins but nobody was more surprised than we when it started to win rallies outright. This is testament to Bill Blydenstien and his team for building a fantastic engine and backup in this project. But I have to say that without the amazing engineering skills the hours of dedication and tenacity of my Dad to bring this this to fruition I doubt it may not have achieved what it did. Ive said it before but he worked miracles on this car . Without Dad, Bill Blydenstien,DTV and Vincent Greenhous Vauxhall dealers I wouldnt have had so much fun and met so many great people involved in rallying.
