A while ago I posted the in-depth state comparison on freedom issues from the Mercatus Center. CA was NOT the worst -- NY bailed us out. But, to be fair, one might dig deeper into the study, which ranks states on different aspects of freedom. Not surprisingly, when it comes to regulation, CA is a SOLID 50th -- the worst. And weve held that undisputed title since 2007. But looking back further to 2001 to 2006, we were much better -- only 49th.
