A wonderful weekend at Lunenburg Folk Harbour Society Festival! So many new friends and new folks to be fans of. Highlights include: The songwriting of the incomparable Amelia Curran (and the crowd hijacking her with a Ron Hines singalong), Ben Caplan & The Casual Smokers (and an impromtu organ fugue), an amazing workshop alongside The Steel Wheels (those LOW notes!) and Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem (NICE PEOPLE!), the lovely Good Lovelies endearing-ness, and the electric Sunday Morning Gospel Workshop alongside Maritime Royalty Kim Wempe and Charlie ACourt and singing Swing Low backed up by the AMAZING vocals of The Sojourners. Whew! What a weekend...
