A write up by Dr Jaharlal Baidya, I appreciate I feel proud to be a doctor(never wanted to become one) of this state. Reasons many. Importantly .... a. Most of my seniors and juniors colleagues of Tripura are honest as realistically as possible. Discharge their duties at best possible manner with available resources in spite of mannnñnny odds.....hardly anyone other than doctors can realise it. b. MBBS Graduates of both AGMC and TMC along with their seniors and other health professionals are devoting themselves in treating people every nukes and corners of geographically difficult Tripura in this crisis time. We all know ..you dont even have shelter leave alone food and adequate rest....you are travelling miles and miles through rough and tough areas of hilly tripura, crossing rivers to reach out affected areas. Salute you young brigades ! We are proud to be your teachers. Dont worry even none appreciates you. Because doctors always work to satisfy care receivers firstly then others. ........ c. I know ...many professionalists envy us openly, feel jealous about...shy away from appreciations at any cost.. Because what we can do others cant do......thats give me immense pleasure. ..bound to feel proud. If you may be criticised for your novel deeds.....so what!! even god is criticised......... Live with dignities and self esteem. Be proud to be doctor
