A year ago, I joined a family. I joined the Miss Mississippi Pageant family and what a reward that was. It seems that EVERY single individual who works with this production is hand picked by God to volunteer countless hours of service to ensure and stellar production each year. One person in particular stood out, Mr Joel Nelson. Mr. Joel was a man of few words but a heart of pure gold. He had a servants heart and would do whatever it took to offer the most exceptional service he could. If you had told me two weeks ago would be my last time seeing him, I wouldnt have believed you. We are going to miss you Mr. Joel, get those mics right up there in heaven and save some room for us. We love you !!
