A year ago this weekend...our worlds were turned upside down when Abbey, my pit bull, went missing in an area of Mississippi known for illegal dog fighting. I took to social media and her story went viral on facebook - being shared all over the world (as far as Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, Australia, English, Greece, etc). Through the help of THOUSANDS of people...Abbey was rescued. Her story has continued to touch the lives of so many...and the amount of GOOD that has come out of it is incredible. Abbey made the local news down in Mississippi, Fox 45 in Baltimore, she made the front page of the Jackson Mississippi newspaper, we had help from local radio station MISS 103, and countless other media outlets covered our story. Ill be doing a video in the next few days, giving an update on Abbey as we celebrate the 1 year anniversary of this life-changing event that effected so many.
