A young African American college student spent over $300 on a belt in NYC. The store became suspicious, and the NYPD arrested him for fraud. What are you thoughts? It seems clearly the NYPD, as an arm of government, is at fault. But, is the store culpable for damages? What obligation does a store have to sell to any individual?
