A young Daughter and Mother requires assistance: The girl got married quite young. The Hubby who works in a Chinese hotel comes home late, practically intoxicated, often beats up the wife and had even wanted to murder her on more than one occasion. With time a lovely baby girl was born premature. At the hospital, on discharge of the baby the father had intended to dump the child in a dustbin. The mother managed to bring up the child. One night the mother and infant was chased away from home, where both had escaped falling in to an open deep well and managed to come to their mother’s house for safety. The police and the committee on peace suggests always to try and patch up matters and live together. The family tried on more than one occasion, living in terror. (Nevertheless when not drunk the father is a nice guy! – Problem is most or every night he is dead drunk and on weekends its worse!) The husband now suggested that she sells herself to his friends and customers at the Chinese hotel for a short period TO MAKE MONEY, where for the rest of their life they could live well. When the girl refused, the child and the mother had been mercilessly assaulted. This happened to be a constant affair. On poya or off days the father brings friends home for a drink and the girl has to make bites and serve them. Later the father tries to force the girl to entertain the friends. The girl left the man and came to live with her mother. The father shouts on the road and sometimes comes and terrorizes the household and fights have occurred, disturbing that household too. The mother and the girl are patients and the child is mentally upset. The police always advices to patch thing up. A case was field and now they are separated. The father comes to see the child..quite a dangerous affair, as she is now growing up and beautiful. He seems to be having other affairs and accuses the girl to be moving with other men. He had organized his friends and the three wheel park boys to kidnap her he has sent word to be careful, it had been conveyed. The girl went to the nuns and is now with her brother and a friend doing a small job in Colombo and the child is attending school staying with the girl’s mother and after salary visits the child where again the husband tries his ole’ pranks! He had been warned by the police and court of law too. THE REQUEST OF THE MOTHER IS TO TRY AND GET A SPONSOR FOR THE LOVELY CHILD FOR SCHOOLING AND SOME KIND GOOD LIVING.
