Everything Jack Kerouac ever wrote (Wake Up Satori in Paris Dharma Bums and On The Road are all stand-outs though) 2. Bridget Jones - Helen Fielding (no shame. v. good.) 3. Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte (Heathcliff, ooof) 4. Vanity Fair - William Thackery (dem Victorians eh?) 5. Noughts and Crosses - Malorie Blackman (cry cry cry) 6. The Bell Jar - Sylvia Plath (what a riot) 7. The Shifting Point AND/OR The Empty Space - Peter Brook (these actually are a riot) 8. The Sun Also Rises - Ernest Hemingway AND/OR The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald (a.k.a. Craig Robert Hamilton,- thanks for writing such a classic mate) 9. Lolita - Vladamir Nabokov (yet another riot) 10. Everything Enid Blyton every wrote (been on that Famous Five hype since I could read.) and who could forget (BONUS BOOK) ... John Guys Tudor England. Dont know who Id be today without it.
