AAA NewsFlash: AGM 2014 Notice of AGM Dear AAA Members and Subscribers, This is notification of the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Arts Access Australia. The AGM will take place via teleconference on Thursday the 27th of March 2014 at 1pm EST (that’s 12.30pm in South Australia / 12pm in Queensland / 11.30am in the Northern Territory / 10am in Western Australia). If you would like to join in the meeting please contact us for dial in details. This short meeting will include the presentation of AAA’s 2013 Annual Report and confirmation of members of the Board of Management. If you are interested in nominating as a Board member please see attached form, and submit nomination by the 20th March 2014. If you would like further information about the role of Board member, please email [email protected] As per AAA’s constitution, half of the board, (those who have been longest in office) must retire, but are eligible for re-election. This means that three (3) original member positions and two (2) ordinary member positions will become vacant. Please see the attached nomination form for definitions of original and ordinary members. Please let us know if you are able to attend the meeting. If you’re not able to join us, please send me an email with your proxy information, as follows: I, [your name] of [your address], am unable to attend the AAA Annual General Meeting on Thursday the 27th of March 2014 and wish to be represented at the meeting by [the Chairperson OR name of another AAA member] who I authorise to vote on my behalf. To be eligible to vote, you need to have joined AAA not less than one month prior to the AGM. A copy of the 2013 AGM Minutes, the proposed changes to the Constitution, the Agenda and the 2013 Annual Report will be sent to you a week before the meeting date.
