AAKARSHAN. The name, the event holds special space in my heart. When I first came to know that I am going to be faculty in charge of AAKARSHAN 2014, it felt great. Now that its over, I just couldnt stop myself from writing about the experience. First and foremost thank you to Pooja Shah. It was impossible to conduct the event successfully without your constant support, guidance and enthusiasm as faculty in charge. Thanks for always being there. Next thanks to my team of coordinators for the wonderful arrangement. The team of Ceos and Dceos worked really hard to work out everything in the event. ISHANK you did a fantastic job of running around everywhere and getting the work done. Sanchi Arora, you did fantastic work with scheduling and directing the events. Urvi Thacker, you were always around whenever I needed some update and am sure you did a fantastic job as SPOC to the HR class. Janice Rodriguez you were superb with your commitment and perseverance. Keep up the good work. Nakul Bafna you did good work in background but still more is expected from you. Just communicate more. Ashutosh Nemlekar your way of working was very good and you had good chemistry with your team. All the event heads took responsibility and ownership of the event which was wonderful to see. The creative and logistics team did a marvelous job with constrained resources and the freshers party team were wonderful throughout specially with design and distribution of T shirts as well as end event. I would specially like to thank Shaileshji Dalmia, Prof. A N Khedkar, Prof. Gulab Mohite and Prof. Seema Saini for constant encouragement and support. Special mention to Prof. Seema saini for her special efforts whenever we were stuck somewhere. You always helped us with simple solutions. All faculty members and support staff contributed immensely for all the events and their support was our motivation. Thank you Arpita for also constantly contributing and supporting the event. Last but not the least, I would thank all the first year students for making Aakarshan grand success. Thanks to all the external judges and ALL THE super seniors who came on last day of AAKARSHAN 2014. I am happy that for me the event was a grand success.
