ABC undercover experiment....What if ... men ... (stay with me) ... didnt ... (stay with me) ... rape? Moreover, what if people ... (stay with me) ... stopped ... men from raping? ABC wanted to see what happened when we do. As it turns out, it can be pretty effective. We are our brothers & sisters keeper-make a choice to stand up vs looking the other way. The thought process of how rape is viewed and handled in our culture needs a drastic overhaul-look at the Memphis Police Dept. and the discovery of over 7,000 rape kits that were never processed-some dating back to the 1980s. Who made that decision that catching rapist just wasnt that important-think of all the rapist that arent in the DNA data bank because of this bad choice. Shame on MPD! And shame on us as a culture for blaming the victims vs the sick criminal minds! A rapist-even a date rapist is a deeply disturbed person.
