ABGAD HAWAZ Foundation Enriching Education and Culture for Children (AHF) Job Title: Finance and Admin Coordinator ABGAD HAWAZ Foundation (AHF) is an Egyptian non-governmental organization, registered with the Ministry of Social Solidarity (Reg. No. 8163 of 2011). AHF seeks to play a significant role in enriching children’s, young people’s, and civil society’s knowledge and awareness of child rights. AHF offers children many learning opportunities to enhance their skills and build their capacities to improve the quality of their lives through establishing a strong sustainable organization through its core program “Community Learning and Dialogue Centre” (CLDC). AHF also invests in building young people’s capacities to maximize the impact of its different programs and promote the values of social justice, as well as providing them with the opportunity to join its activities through its program “Enriching Education through Global and Local Outreach” (E2GO). AHF is currently seeking to appoint Finance and Administrative Coordinator to perform the following duties: The position follows the normal working environment of the organization. Location : Cairo, Egypt Salary : EGP 1,800 net salary Job Type : 4 months Contract- Extended based of funding availability Category : Project Management Sectors : Finance/ Administration Working Hazard: Normal Working Days: 5 days Days Off: 2 days ( Saturday and Sunday) Working Hours: 8 per day Main Duties and Responsibilities: Finance: Be directly accountable for the financial book keeping ,and accounts of the organization. Manage the expense account, petty cash and bank relations. Keep up-to-date databases showing the expenditure by AHF, and pro-actively inform the AHF hierarchy of over and/or under-spending fields. Closely monitor the activities of the expenditures of the various projects. Participate in the purchase of assets, equipments and supplies according to the required procedures. Supervise the maintenance requirements of the AHF assets and premises. Consolidate the expenditure of ABGAD HAWAZ Foundation and report the monthly cash flows versus budget to the Treasurer and board of trustees. Work in close collaboration with the AHF Treasurer, Executive director as well with project coordinators. Assist in budget forecast preparation of future income and expenses. Maintain professional relation ,and regular follow up with the bank. Fundraising Develop and update data base of potential donors and keep in touch with existing donors and stakeholders Prepare project budget and proposals in collaboration with the programme team in compliance with ABGAD HAWAZ financial policy and donors requirements Developing strategies ,and setting goals to hit fundraising targets Prepare benefit package for potential donors Draft fundraising letter Prepare ,and give presentations with the support of the executive director during fundraising meetings Finding people to donate money Oversee fundraising events and campaigns Administration: Oversee all aspects of general office coordination. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and agency information. Interact with clients, vendors and visitors, answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member. Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, bookkeeping, copying, faxing, Mailing and filing. Undertake HR related tasks such as preparing contracts, social insurance and tax applications File and retrieve organizational documents, records and reports related to finance and admin department. Coordinate and maintain records for staff, office space, telephones, and office keys. Coordinate and direct office services, such as records, personnel attendance and Housekeeping. Make travel arrangements for staff, board and volunteers if needed. Collect and maintain inventory of office equipment and supplies. Assist with overall maintenance of the organization assets and its offices. Qualification Qualifications of Successful Candidate University degree in commerce/ finance major accounting Two years of relevant professional work experience.
