ABOUT BIBLE VERSIONS IN ENGLISH - MY TAKE ON IT I have been a long time supporter of the King James Bible - The Authorized Version that many men and women gave their lives for to bring it to us who speak English so we could have a Bible we could hold in our hands and read. Gods Hand was on the King James Bible and although many demons tried to stop it they would not succeed and I thank God that I have a copy of it here next to me so I can Read Gods Word in my native tongue. I stick with it because it has been the standard for over 400 years and is not copyrighted and cannot be controlled or leavened. Some have tried to improve on the KJV and did good in some areas but in other areas there is compromise and leavening so you will be hard pressed to find a more accurate English Translation from Hebrew and Greek than you will find in the KJV. That being said it does not mean that I do not consult some of the newer translations for certain passages that I need more clarfication on. I like Bible Hub and other online software that allows for quick searches and comparison. There are instances where the translation is clearer for me to understand in another recent translation but I always go back to the King James Authorized Version as I believe it to be the Best English Translation on the Planet.
