Please Read: NATIONAL ASSEMBLY RESUMES PLENARY TODAY The Senate and the House of Representatives will resume today after a two moth annual recess. Ahead of the resumption, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Rules and Business, Ita Enang said the upper champers of the National Assembly will prioritize consideration of President Jonathan’s request for a one billion dollar loan to fight insurgency. Briefing correspondents yesterday, Senator Ita Enag said the lawmakers will equally considered the Ebola health challenge and Dr Jonathan’s request for funding of the police reform programme. Senator Enang added that while the senate await the House of Reps action on the constitution amendment Bills already passed by the senate, it will treat as a matter of urgency the revenue framework document to be submitted by President Jonathan ahead of the 2015 budget. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So much expected from them this season and we pray they live up to expectation.
