ABUJA REPORTS With the recent demolition of shops in Karu Market, a suburb of Abuja, the nations capital, traders in the area have now moved to the streets, hawking their wares for business. The affected traders have called on the Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC to provide five thousand square metres of land for them to settle down and continue with their business# Most streets in Kuje town, the headquarters of Kuje Area Council are littered with refuse with residents worried about the health implications. Those who spoke with AIT expressed concern over the inability of the FCT Satellite Towns Development Agency and its licensed operators to remove the refuse from the streets# For Nigeria to win the war against human trafficking, children who are mostly victims should be enlightened and involved in the campaign against the menace.
