If you make too much money, over 400% of FPL, you will have to buy health insurance in off exchange market. It is same way that you are buying health insurance now. But you need to act soon, if you buy it and are approved before 12/31/2013, you plan will be able to remain on the current plans until 11/30/2014 and then will be moved to an ACA plan. it means your premium on current rating system for 2014, then your rate will be converted to ACA plan which 100% to 116% rate up comparing to current plans with some companies. Another consideration, ACA plan physician networks are similar to HMO network, you need to make choice between your money and your doctor. good luck.
