#ACCA #P2 #ExamTips #PastPaper #Analysis #ACCAReloaded The examiner for P2 has clearly stated - if you dont make it in question 1, there is high change you dont make it. So for the benefit of those studying in the mist of lonely student forest, I have prepared a review of the questions that has come out for Q1 ACCA P2. Obviously the examiner has also stated that there is no spotting of question - which is exactly what we are trying to do when studying the past patterns of the exam papers - hoping that there is an indication of events to come. So in the hope that you have a better life in P2 ACCA paper, the past year analysis here will focus from the most relevant periods of the life of the examiner - after Dec 2007 when the paper P2 actually started Dec 2007 - SOFP - P + S + A June 2008 - SOFP - P - 2S (Foreign) Dec 2008 - Cash flow June 2009 - SOFP - P - 2S Stepped acquisition Dec 2009 - SOFP - P - 2S + Disposals + Change on % June 2010 - P/L - P - S - S + Disposals Dec 2010 - Cash flow June 2011 - SOFP - P - 2S (Foreign sub) Dec 2011 - SOFP - P - 2S (Partial + Full Goodwill) June 2012 - SOFP Stepped Acquisition - P - 2S + P - JO Dec 2012 - SOFP Complex group P - S - S + P - A (Stepped) June 2013 - SOFP Stepped Acquisition - P - 2S Dec 2013 - Cash flow Out of 12 sittings,9 times SOFP was featured - indicating that examiner likes positional statement over the performance statements (P/L and cash flow) - only 3 times to date. Given that last sitting was a cash flow, this time we would expect it to be a P/L statement. Alternatively be also ready for Foreign sub Finally the disposals have not showed up for some time. June 2014 Predicted Q1 - well you should know by looking at the pattern above. Hope that helps you prepare a bit more focused So : Do 1 Cash flow, 3 P/L and 3 SOFP that is the diet recommended for the coming June 2014 P2 ACCA Exam as a preparation tip.
