ACCIDENT HELP UPDATE: Weve received a TON of pms asking how an someone help.....is there a fund set up....how can we contribute.....heres the low down. Right now, its all Cathy can do to keep her head above water doctoring, changing bandages, and comforting her horses. Her days are filled with changing out bandages and trying to encourage her horses to eat, to drink, to keep the battle going. As we posted earlier today, Casino lost that battle. Parr is still in very VERY critical condition....he has been moved home in an effort to save him. At the clinic he was worrying and fretting himself into a worse condition.....Im sure you all can only imagine the trauma he went thru (he was in the front hole of the trailer, Casino in the second, Kid Rock in the back). The tragedy of this situation can NOT be adequately explained....and given the nature of the accident it is still being investigated. Not much is known at this time....the whos, the whats, the wheres, the hows, the charges, etc.....Cathy and her family, most likely, wont know much for several weeks.....she remains very VERY focused on the health and conditions of her horses. With that in mind, we are here for support for her....we havent asked questions, we dont need to know the details other than they need our support and our prayers. The rest will all fall into place as time goes by and well know more. With all that in mind, may I simply suggest to those who have contacted us wanting to set up a fund, do a fundraiser, help in any way.....do this: Make a donation to the vet clinic her three horses were taken too....make a payment to her account .... Just tell them you want it applied to Cathy Fergusons account....they will most certainly know who you are talking about. I do NOT know details, but I am a horse person and as such we all know how vet bills can add up............how wonderful it would be for hers to be reduced a little! Thank all of YOU, Mile Hi Family Members, outsiders, our Facebook Community of people, and just caring people in general......it has been sooooooo refreshing to see the outpouring of support you all have extended to ALL of the folks that have been involved in accidents the past couple of weeks! It has genuinely been unbelievable. Many have had their faith in mankind restored! YOU ALL ROCK!!
