ADORNING THE GOSPEL Paul the apostle said in his letter to Titus these words, Titus 2:10 Not purloing, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may ADORN the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. ADORN is the word “kosmeo” its where we get the English word “Cosmetics” ADORN the doctrine of God our Savior, as believers we are to Adorn, beautify, make attractive the doctrine of God our SAVIOUR. The sinner need not understand the Sovereignty of God, though that is true, the sinner need not understand the Omniscient of God though that is wonderful as well, but the sinner needs to see the Doctrine of God our SAVIOUR. So our lives need make attractive the doctrine of God our SAVIOUR, the sinner needs a SAVIOUR and the only place they may ever see a SAVIOUR is to see Him in one who has been saved. As one infidel said, “I’d be incline to believe in your Redeemer, if you would show me a Redeemed life” To confess Christianity, to confess to know Christ, then our life needs to make that Christian life attractive, we must ADORN the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. Remember, Bro. Branham speaking of the woman washing Jesus’ feet, the religious was afraid of what kind of reputation she had and here’s what the prophet said, 2-18-1956 The worst sinner in the city Minneapolis, MN Why, Jesus’ reputation’s made among sinners. Sure, that’s the ones that’ll receive Him. His reputation can’t be made before you starchy, and stiff and indifferent, and read some old ritual off like that, and call it preaching the Gospel. How in the world is He going to have a reputation with you? You got your reputation in the church. Rev. William Branham Matthew 11:19 Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and SINNERS. But wisdom is justified of her children.
