ADVISORY - Balikbayan Boxes arriving on June 2014 We just got the news from the shipping line. Due to Manila port congestion, Taiwan is now impacted with the congestion. Vessels (from USA and other continents) supposed to arrive in Manila port are waiting at Taiwan, unable to sail to Manila until space is available at the berth. Some vessels almost at the berth of Manila port returned back to Taiwan. Please be advised of the following 1. That the supposed to be June 24 arrival to BOC has been moved to July 3rd. The vessel where your boxes are is at Taiwan and safe. The vessel is scheduled to leave Taiwan on June 28. 2. That there is truck ban, additional delay may occur from transporting the container from Manila port to warehouse. The warehouse is doing their best, as soon as the boxes arrived at the warehouse, delivery will commence immediately. We will keep you posted. We apologize for the inconvenience. This is one of the things we cannot control. But we will always give you an explanation and we will be transparent as much as we can. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
