AFC Leopards’ secretary George Aladwa has accuses some NEC officials of sabotaging the club. Below is the statement. Do you agree with Aladwa’s sentiments? AFC Leopards Sports Club 15th August 2013 PRESS RELEASE ACTS OF SABOTAGE After private investigations about the source of distractive rhetoric in the club, the AFC Leopards National Executive Committee (NEC) has discovered sabotage from within and outside, and is now sounding a warning to the architects of the negativity to desist at once or risk being named and banned from associating with the club. Our credible investigations have pointed to a few moles in the NEC working with some disgruntled causalities of the just concluded club elections. Apart from inciting part of the technical bench to issue unrealistic demands, they have deployed a social media hit squad to rubbish all efforts being put in place by the NEC so as to create wrangles and destabilize the club. The forces of impunity have bankrolled a propaganda machinery to spread unfounded lies to reverse the good tidings on the pitch. But the NEC is well aware of the scheme and will crack the whip in due course. The losers of the June elections must know that elections are over and stop the hangover of the free and fair exercise that gave the current NEC a three year term. The NEC will also like to reiterate that the club’s official website is afcleopards.net and the official face book page is face book/afc leopards sports club for official communications. No other social media outlets, including the many fans pages/walls, should be relied on to speak on behalf of the club. Regards. George Aladwa Secretary General.
