AFRICA SECURITY ALERT TRENDING: AMBASSADOR OF TOGO FOUND DEAD IN GABON ASSASSINATIONS, KIDNAPPING, ROBBERIES AND TRANSNATIONAL CRIMES WITH IMPUNITY GROWING IN AFRICA.......!!! QUOTE - The Togolese ambassador to Gabon, Essohanam Adewui, and a woman, whose identity is unknown for the moment, were found dead Saturday in Libreville. The information was made public on Saturday early evening. The Togolese diplomat was found dead in his car which was inexplicably in Michel Marine sea in the 4th arrondissement of Libreville. The State of fatigue and drunkenness of Mr Essohanam, according to information gathered from witnesses in Gabon, allegedly lost control of the car who drove straight into the sea. The Ambassador had the habit of nightclubs and a bad reputation in the diplomatic community in Libreville, we have been told. His wife was apparently not in Libreville. This Sunday, May 11, 2014, the Togolese Government was quick to respond via a communiqué from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: the Ambassador of Togo to Gabon was found this morning drowned in his car with his girlfriend... the Department, on behalf of the head of State and Government, presents its sincere condolences to the bereaved family and reassures them that all arrangements will be made to know the exact circumstances of the death of the diplomat and repatriate the body to Lomé as soon as possible. Mr. Adewi was a diplomat with a background in finance.
