AIR POWER DEVOTIONAL A Desire To Work! This [is] a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 1Tim. 3:1 To succeed in anything you do, you must first of all have a desire to work. It may seem obvious but it is often not in practice. Sometimes, when I speak to people who are unemployed, I come to the conclusion that they do not have a desire to work. Someone once informed me of a job opening in a factory. I made an announcement in church and asked to meet those who were unemployed. There were about 21 men who came for that meeting. When they came, I directed them to the place where they were to be interviewed. Surprisingly, not even one showed up on the said date. They were jobless alright but they lacked the desire to work! In 1Timothy 3:1, we learn that even God is not looking for someone who is just looking for a job. That person must have the desire to work. Having a desire to work will add value to your life! Have a desire to work!
