The 1st Congressional District consists of Baldwin, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe, Washington counties and a portion of Clarke County. The deadline to register to vote is Friday, September 13. The ballot request deadline is Thursday, September 19. All ballots must be postmarked no later than Monday, September 23. All ballots must be received no later than 12 noon CST, Tuesday, September 24. If none of the candidates receive more than 50 percent of the vote in the special primary election, a special primary run-off election will be held on Tuesday, November 5.
