ALMERIA & MURCIA WEATHER UPDATE Saturday 8th March 2014: Morning all......today the sun continues but we are to see those winds rise on the Costas and AEMET, the Spanish National Weather Service, has issued a Yellow Alert as of 6pm this evening for rough seas through to midnight Sunday/Monday, at this time, along Almerias south coast to the Cabo de Gato!!!........If your down along that coast stay away from the waters edge!!!.....Winds aside, the sun remains but those temperatures are cooling and the wind may well make it feel colder.....Sunday the winds continue along all coastal areas and so does the sun and that UV index climbs to its highest level so far this year so start to dig out the suntan lotion and have it to hand!!!.......Monday into Tuesday we are probably going to have to contend with those winds still along the coast but again the sun continues across the group but with more cloudy bits and as it stands, this is the look of the remainder of the week although there is an increased chance of seeing rain on Wednesday but I will confirm a bit nearer.....I will say that if this weather remains unchanged then we are likely to see those nighttime temperatures drop out to January chilled levels by the following weekend along the coast which means Mucho Frio (I know, your all impressed with my Spanish!!!) inland and down right out of order in the mountains!!!........Now, sort of changing the subject; in the warm months here in Spain the still of the day, or even the general hum of the noise if your in a built up area, is generally broken by the loud buzz in a nearby tree or bush caused by a very strange looking creature called a Cicada. Apparently they live underground for most of their life and then emerge to annoy the bloody life out of you and wreck your peace and quite....at least the males do as they are the ones that generate the noise!!!.......But heres the thing, with this warm weather we just might see one or two emerge early and when they do start emerging en-mass and you sit there listening to the buzz, should it stop suddenly and not return rain approaches!!!......The Cicada is another of those weather barometers and cannot make the buzzing noise when the humidity in the air rises as it would just before rainfall!!!......That was a public information service brought to you by your favourite restaurant The Golden Dragon where you can get revenge and tuck into Cicada in Black Bean Sauce just by choosing number 34 on the menu!!!!......And there was you lot thinking that crunch was Cockroach!!!.......Youve just so gotta hit that share button now having read such great information!!!......Jim Fraser for the LFWW network feeling hungry!!! :o
