**AMAZING BEHAVIOR RATING** “You cant ask for a better more gentle companion than Vause.” TO BE KILLED TOMORROW (SUNDAY, 9. 21.2014) A volunteer writes: Vause has been on my list to meet and now that I have met him, and fallen in love, Im so sorry that I didnt meet him earlier. Hes a gorgeous red head, quiet, gentle and simply put, a NICE DOG. Happy to be chosen for a walk I leashed him easily and out we went. His leash manners are good, he goes potty right away, and off we go to the park. Hes shy and needs a little time to warm up but once he does his tail starts to wag gently. We take some pictures in the park giving me a chance to really admire his gorgeous amber eyes. With soft eye contact he looks up and his intelligence and gentle soul shine through. Once comfortable with me he gives amazing hugs, his head against my chest for optimum closeness. Vause showed no reaction to other dogs either in the park or in the yard, noticing them but ignoring them. I love sitting on the bench cuddling with him, and a sense of calm pervades me. Vause aced his behavior assessment indicating he would be a good fit in just about any home. Nice dogs should finish first and were rooting for Vause to find his forever home filled with love.
