AMC Stands For Arthrogryposis Multi-Plex Congenita. I made this page right after having my middle son Laythen because when I was 20 weeks along is when we got the official diagnosis but when he was born (via C-Section due to the risk of him and I loosing our life if I tried natural birth) the severity of the disability was much worse than they thought. Every single joint in his body from head to toe literally are affected by this disability. My goal in making this group is to be able to have a community where we can ask for advice for certain things, share tips that have worked for some families and AMCers, as well as everything else thats related to AMC. BUT, I dont want my page to be limited to JUST AMC families... I want it to be a community for ALL parents to be able to come together and network. One of my biggest reasons for making this page is because of the fact that AMC is so rare that I feel its BEEN time To Be More Openly Discussed. Im talking more along the lines of manners and just being respectful to fellow members and no disrespecting or degrading others. I also do NOT mind cursing. I feel everyone is entitled to speak their mind and I know that when Im frustrated I can curse like a sailor. So there arent basically any rules or regs just use common sense and good judgement.
