"AMIWU" Who remembers this name from "THE POT OF LIFE" a TV drama series from Benin in the early 80s?. Amiwu was the virgin girl chosen by the oracle to get the pot of life from a place she did not kno. She had to pass thro evil forest, and was faced wit many trials that if she doz not overcom would cause her life and that means her community too would sufer. She was givn specific instruction NEVER to look back. Remember when she was asked by some strange looking creatures " do u kno where we can get coconut?" n she simly replied "i dont kno but God knos." At last , her resilient paid up for her, she got the pot of life n saved her community. I beliv we hav ppl who can sacrifice for our society n our country NIGERIA.
