AN OPEN APOLOGY TO ALL MOTORISTS! Dear fellow motorists, I apologise for my ignorance and failings to adhere to the changes to the Highway Code, in particular the new rule that you can now go through a Red light up to 3 seconds after it has changed. Now that I am aware, I will endeavour to remember that when the traffic lights Im waiting at turn green I must proceed with caution treating the junction as a give way, obviously in the favour of the vehicles coming through the red light. Furthermore, I will also carry out the practise that you no longer have to use indicators on roundabouts as we as a race have now developed mind reading and we of course should automatically know what exit other road users are taking.
