ANALYSİS OF QUESTİONNAİRE Within the scope “Commenius School Partnerships Project”, the questionnaire about the importance of water in human life, water shortage and water saving was completed by 21 students from our school. 14 of the respondents are male and 7 of them are female. 5 fifth-grade students, 5 sixth-grade students, 7 seventh-grade students, 4 eighth-grade students have answered the questions. All students answered “ I agree”. Question 2: Water is one of the indispensable nutritions in our life. Only one student gave answer “I agree partly”, 20 students answered “ I agree”. Question 3: Water is one of the essential things in our life to lead healthy life. 3 students answered “ I agree partly”,18 students answered “ I agree”. Question 4: If water is run out of, ıt means life come to the end. 17 students gave answered to this question “I agree”, 3 students answered “ I agree partly” and 1 student answered “ I dont agree” Question 5: When water is excessively abundant, we cannot understand its value. 16 students answered “I agree”, 4 students answered “I agree partly”, 1 student answered “I dont agree”. Question 6: Water is the most essential resource for living things. 20 students answered “ I agree”, 1 student gave answer “I agree partly”. Question 7: None of species, such as humanbeing, animal, plant can live in an environment where there is no water. 18 students answered “I agree”, 2 students answered “ I agree partly” and 1 student gave answer “I dont agree”. Question 8: We use water for nearly everything in our daily life. All students gave answered “ I agree”. Question 9: Available water resources decrease rapidly because of water pollution and the unconscious water consuption. 16 students answered “ I agree” , 5 students answered “I agree partly”. Question 10: The major problem of our world in near future will be drought. 11 students answered “I agree” , 10 students answered “ I agree partly” . Question 11: We can save water by using simple methods in our houses. 19 students answered “I agree”, 2 students answered “I agree partly”. Question 12: We have to use water consciously against threat of drought. 20 students answered “ I agree”, 1 student answered “I agree partly. Question 13: I can live without water,too. 1 student answered “I agree”, 2 students answered “I agree partly” and 18 students answered “I dont agree” Question 14: I am not worried about facing the threat of water shortage in future. 2 students answered “I agree” , 4 students answered “ I agree partly” and 15 students answered “I dont agree”. Question 15: If we use water consciously, we dont face the problem of water shortage. 17 students answered “I agree” and 4 students answered “I dont agree”. Question 16: I consume water without wasting to meet my need. 15 students answered “I agree” , 5 students answered “I agree partly” and 1 student answered “ I dont agree”. To the question “For what do you use water in the house?”, the students gave such answers : to cook, to drink water, to wash the dishes, to wash their hand and face, to brush teeth, to clean the house, to do laundry, to take shower,to wash fruit, to wash a carpet. To the question “What should we do for saving water? “ , the students gave such answers: We shouldnt waste water, we shouldnt use water excessively, we should use necessary amount, when we see the tap open, we should close it, while brushing teeth and washing the dishes we shouldnt leave the tap open. To question “Do you leave the tap open while brushing your teeth, washing the dishes, washing your hands?” All students answered “ No”.
